Wine & Dine: Languedoc/Roussillon

On Wednesday, March 25th, 2015, join us for a culinary wine tour of Languedoc/Roussillon with Gérard Bertrand Wines at Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro. Beginning at 7:00PM, guests will sample wines from Gérard Bertrand, one of the leading winemakers from Southern France and a former member of the French National rugby team, under the unparalleled guidance of our own Cecilia Rait and Tracy Burgis of M.S. Walker. During this fun and informative dinner we will showcase four different wines as well as the culinary artistry of Executive Chef Lucas Sousa, whose dishes are designed to complement each featured wine. For $65.00 per person (tax and gratuity not included), guests are treated to four wines, and a four course dinner. Advance purchase of tickets for this event is necessary. On Sunday, April 5th, 2015, Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro will be offering a special, prix fixe Easter Brunch perfect for families and friends alike. From 10:00AM to 4:00PM diners can indulge in festive fare such as the Arugula Salad with almonds, oranges, avocado, radish and feta cheese, Braised lamb Shoulder (Four Star Farms)  with polenta, swiss chard and spiced carrots, or Roasted Pork Loin with mustard braised cabbage, turnips and pork jus. The prix fixe menu is available for $39 per person (+tax and gratuity). Reservations are highly recommended (617-723-7575).

Pi Day 2015

Satisfy your sweet tooth while feeding your inner mathematician, with a slice of pie. Join Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro in celebration of “Pi Day.” Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th each year since 3, 1 and 4 are the three most significant digits of π in the decimal form. A toast to the beginning of the famous sequence of numbers, on Saturday, March 14th, 2015, (3.14) we will be offering a slice of pie for only $3.14 during breakfast service served from 7:30AM to 10:00AM.

Dine Out Boston: Winter 2015

From March 1st-6th and 8th-13th, join us at Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro as we indulge in the annual winter dining event! We’ll be offering a 3-course, prix fixe lunch menu Monday through Friday for $25 and 3-course dinner Sunday through Thursday for $38 per person. Fondue Sundays Is Every Night Until Weather Ends!

Get your revenge on this winter weather. Join us at Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro for Fondue featuring classic, Swiss cheese fondue! While the crisp winter air blankets Boston and the ground is covered in snow, nothing warms a body (or an entire family of bodies) faster than cozying up in the Bistro with a hearty pot of rich fondue.

Suitable to be shared as an appetizer or to be enjoyed as a main course ($26.00 per pot), guests will be treated to hot cheese fondue featuring the distinct tastes of Domaine Giachino Abymes from the Savoie, Bergkäse Alpenblumer, Emmentaler and Gruyére Vieux.

Served with rustic, locally sourced bread as well as accompaniments including small potatoes boiled in sea-salted water and cornichons, you will wonder if you are in Beacon Hill or in the Alps. Fondue Sundays is being served every night through the end of the cold weather from 5:30PM to close, in conjunction with BHHB’s regular menu.

After the past few weeks of bitter cold and sub-zero temperatures, it’s only fitting that we channeled the polar vortex-like energy into our latest cocktail, “Nordic Winter.” The cocktail is a blend of blueberries, dry sherry, simple syrup and Purity–a new ultra premium vodka from Southern Sweden. We’re proud to be the first Massachusetts company to carry Purity, so stop by the Bistro bar and get a true taste of Nordic Winter.
